How to reach Monstera House.🌿

Roma Fiumicino (FCO) 23 km. Con il treno da Fiumicino Aeroporto scendere a Roma Trastevere (26min, 8 €)                                         

                                                          By train: from Fiumicino Airport get off at Roma Trastevere Station.

Roma Ciampino (CIA) 20km. Con la navetta arrivare a Termini, il biglietto costa tra i 5-7€ ed impiega 25-30 minuti (traffico permettendo); da Termini prendere treno per stazione Trastevere (15 min) oppure dal capolinea prendere autobus 170 e scendere a Trastevere.

                                                       Take the shuttle bus to Termini station outside the airport, the ticket costs around 5-7€ and it takes 25-30 minutes (depends on traffic); from termini take the train to Trastevere (15 min) or the bus 170 at the terminal and get off at Trastevere.

Stazione Termini 5km. Con il treno da Roma Termini scendere a Roma Trastevere (14 min, 1€) / Con autobus 170 scendere a Roma Trastevere ( 30 min circa, 1,50€)

Come raggiungere il centro di Roma. 

How to reach the city centre.

Raggiungendo la stazione Trastevere, che si trova a 3 minuti a piedi da Monstera House, troverete tutti i mezzi disponibili per raggiungere il centro.

Con il tram 8, in 10 minuti arriverete al capolinea a Piazza Venezia, dove potrete ammirare l'Altare della Patria e decidere se  proseguire per i Fori Imperiali o per dello shopping in Via Del Corso.

Con il tram 3, passando davanti al Circo Massimo, arriverete in 5 minuti al Colosseo, godendo anche di un piccolo tour panoramico. 

Per arrivare a San Pietro, vi consiglio di partire dalla Stazione Trastevere, solamente con due fermate ed in 6 minuti sarete arrivati davanti la magnificenza del Vaticano.

Queste sono solamente delle soluzioni più veloci, ma troverete altre valide alternative dal capolinea della stazione Trastevere, da dove partono e passano svariati autobus per raggiungere ogni luogo di Roma. La metro più vicina è Piramide (Metro B). Quasi dimenticavo... Approfittando del clima romano, con una bella giornata di sole, potrete godere di bellissime passeggiate per il rione Trastevere, per il Lungotevere, o esplorare i quartieri vicini di Ostiense, Garbatella, che insieme a Trastevere sono le zone più frequentate per la movida. 

Reaching Trastevere Station, which is a 3-minute walk from Monstera House, you will find all the public transport to reach the centre.

By tram 8, get off at the last stop (around 10 minutes) and you will arrive in Piazza Venezia, where you can admire the Altare della Patria and decide whether to continue for the Imperial Forum or for shopping in Via Del Corso.

By tram 3, passing in front of the Circus Maximus, you will arrive in 5 minutes to the Coliseum, also enjoying a small panoramic tour.

To get to San Pietro, I recommend you departing from Trastevere Station, only with two stops and in 6 minutes you will be in front of the magnificence of Vatican City.

These are just the fastest options, but you will find other good alternatives from the bus terminal of Trastevere Station, from where many buses depart and pass to reach every place in Rome. The nearest metro is Piramide (Metro B). 

I almost forgot... Taking advantage of the Roman climate, with a beautiful sunny day, you can enjoy beautiful walks through the Trastevere district, the Lungotevere, or explore the nearby neighborhoods of Ostiense, Garbatella, which together with Trastevere are the most popular areas for nightlife.
